August 15, 2019 — Delta Insurance today announced the general availability of their innovative Group Personal Cyber insurance offering, PerCy.
Sentro (www.sentro.co), the leading GroupInsurtech solution for group insurance and group benefits, provided Delta Insurance with the technology platform to launch the PerCy product.
Delta’s PerCy product creates an entirely new category of employee benefit — personal cyber safety. Customers purchase PerCy as a group product — all members of the group receive coverage, and access to PerCy benefits.
PerCy combines personal cyber insurance cover (against risks like identity theft, network extortion, data loss and computer attacks) with the DynaRisk personal cyber risk assessment product.
DynaRisk helps people stay safe online. It provides tailored actions to help people improve their online security and keep on top of the latest threats.
PerCy customers get secure, personalized access to Delta’s PerCy Dashboard. This lets them do their own online security assessments, and also see their insurance coverage information.
Rob Ellis, Sentro CEO said “Delta is a brilliant customer for us — their innovation really leverages what Sentro can do. The Group Personal Cyber insurance product, paired with the DynaRisk personal cyber risk assessment product, is an absolute dynamite combination. We see a whole new employee wellness category emerging because of this — personal and family cyber wellness. We’re proud that we enabled Delta get this fantastic corporate benefit offering out into the market quickly. We think this will quickly become a ‘must have’ employee benefit.”
“Working with the Sentro team has been great” said Delta Insurance NZ CEO Craig Kirk. “They get us, and they get what we’re trying to do. They bring a lot to the table. Not just the software, which is great — but also ideas about how we can market and deliver the product. They have been fantastic to work with. The whole Sentro team have been extremely collaborative from the outset and they really do feel like an extension of the Delta team. We feel like we made the right choice to go with Sentro, and we are already looking at what else we can do together”.
